Since 1981, Alan Gillman had a fun hobby of horse trading. As a spin off from this hobby he thought he would like to try to sell a few trailers to make some quick money. He had five new horse trailers delivered right to the front yard of his home. He did as he hoped and sold them very quickly and saw the potential of what this “trailer business” could do. He rented a small space behind a local bank of the little town that he lives in and that was the start of Lone Peak Trailers.

Thanks to many of you, our loyal customers, purchasing trailers throughout the years Lone Peak has been allowed to experience substantial growth to what it is today and Lehi is now home to Lone Peak Trailers which sits on 14 acres.  We are centrally located along the Wasatch Front Mountain area, half way between Provo & Salt Lake. We are just north of Thanksgiving Point and straight across I-15 from Cabelas. We have had customers come from places such as Alaska, Hawaii, & New York, just to name a few, to take advantage of the prices and quality of our trailers.

Alan contributes the success of Lone Peak to a few key things;

Alan joined forces with Big Tex Trailers, the leading utility trailer manufacturer in the United States, very early and this partnership has been a large part in the success of Lone Peak Trailers. Along with our utility trailers we also have a full line of cargo, dump, horse, ATV, small boat & motorcycle trailers. We also offer a line of flatbeds for truck installation. Lone Peak inventories up to 750 trailers.

For those of you who only occasionally have a need for a trailer, we have a rental department with many of the same types of trailers including a line of heavy equipment to rent. You won’t beat our rental prices anywhere!

Lone Peak operates a large 8 bay service center located at the same location. We install receiver hitches, brake controls, truck beds & perform wheel packs on all varieties of trailers. We are staffed with some of the best technicians in the state and are equipped to do all types of minor and major repair work, including warranty issues. Hand in hand with our Service Center we offer a full parts department with an inventory of over 10,000 parts and accessories. If we do not have what you need, we are always willing to special order the parts you need.
